I am currently traveling around Oregon with a close friend. We wanted to escape the rain and wind that is bombarding Northern Washington in hopes of finding some sunrise or sunset light. Based on weather models and forecasts we decided that Eastern Oregon on the other side of the Cascades might give us what we were looking for. We lucked out when we were able to shoot at the Painted Hills of John Day Fossil Beds National Monument and create some amazing compositions at sunrise. I will add more news about our trip in coming days.
