It was a little over a year ago that Jay got lost in the Bisti Badlands near Farmington, New Mexico, it wasn’t that he couldn’t find his way out, he couldn’t find his way to where he wanted to be. That as they say is history. Now Jay is returning with reinforcements. Join Jay and photographer Jim Goldstein as they lead a weekend long workshop to this other worldly destination. The Bisti Badlands offer extremely unique photographic opportunities from overall landscapes right down to the macro abstract and Jim and Jay are going to show you how to create using all of the possibilities. In addition, they have planned this workshop to coincide with a full moon to take advantage of photographing way beyond the time the sun has gone down. Unlike most photography workshops that end their day at sunset, we are going to highlight many of the concepts that Jim has written about in his new e-book, Photographing the 4th Dimension – Time, during the moonlight hours.

For 3 days Jay and Jim will take you out in the field to photograph the amazing formations of Bisti, teach you how to create images that focus on time, and work one-on-one with you to help you further your photographic skill level. This workshop will be based out of the Courtyard Farmington, in Farmington, New Mexico and suggest this hotel as a location for participants to stay as well.
